Who Actually Makes Your Shelving?
The answer to this question is the real test of any turnkey claim. At Kare Raf, the team that draws the design and the team that makes the shelving are the same: the shelving is produced in our own factory, not by a subcontractor, and installation is carried out by our own installation team. This ensures both that the design can actually be produced (no gap between what you see in 3D and what leaves the factory) and that, if a problem arises, you deal with a single party.
How Does the Process Work, from Site Visit to Opening?
The process runs in five steps, each one feeding the next. The measurements taken at the free site visit (usually within 1–2 days) form the basis of the 3D design. Once shelf layout, colours and items have been discussed and approved, the plan goes to the factory as a work order. Production takes 1–2 weeks on average, depending on workload; in the final step our own crew handles installation and handover, after hours or overnight if needed. In a turnkey project, the price is determined by the store's floor area, shelf footage and height, material/sheet thickness, sector-specific display needs and the installation scope. Delivery and installation are included in the quoted price; for projects outside Istanbul, distance and installation time may be reflected in the price. What Should You Decide Before Starting the Project?
- Opening date: If you have one, the schedule is built backwards from that date.
- Store dimensions and floor/electrical condition: These are confirmed during the site visit, but having them to hand beforehand speeds up the process.
